歌曲《Casablanca卡萨布兰卡》被标以奥斯卡金曲的名头。很多人误以为它是同名电影《卡萨布兰卡》中的主题曲，其实这种认知是错误的。 （所以有些配此乐曲的电影视频也是一个错误的制作）
《北非谍影》（又译《卡萨布兰卡》） 是1942年二战期间一部经典美国电影 。由著名演员英格丽褒曼和鲍嘉主演。里面的主题曲其实是叫《时光流逝》。
而经典英文歌曲《卡萨布兰卡》是20世纪70年代由著名音乐人 Bertie Higgins（贝蒂·希金斯）在看完电影《卡萨布兰卡》这部电影后有感而写出的，用的是电影的名字，后来成为爱情电影《广岛之恋》的插曲。在这首歌的歌词里出现多次的“as time goes by”才是电影《卡萨布兰卡》中的主题曲《时光流逝》，而a kiss is not a kiss就是引用这首主題曲中的一句歌词。
