喜欢和听过Leonard Cohen专辑的歌迷，应该都还记得他的专辑里出现过的女声，Anjani Thomas就是其中的一位，她的和声曾出现在Leonard Cohen的《I’m your Man》、《The Future》、《Dear Heather》等专辑里。
Anjani Thomas，这个自称“守旧的女孩“，出生于夏威夷的火努鲁鲁，在就读伯克利音乐学院以前接受过吉他、钢琴和声乐的训练，后来她去到曼哈顿，在爵士Club圈里表演，从一些钢琴名家Vince Guaraldi到Bill Evans的作品中吸取灵感。1984年Anjan被制作人John Lissauer介绍给Cohen，她迷人的和声出现在Cohen的著名作品“Hallelujah”里，此后Anjani以一个键盘手和歌手的身份参加了Cohen的Various Positions世界巡回演唱会，并且在前面提到的Cohen的三张专辑中演唱和和声。
